COMO Beach Club and Carbon Jakarta announced their culinary collaboration, “Tropical Gastronomy Fiesta: COMO Beach Club Meets Carbon Jakarta,” scheduled for 15 – 17 November 2023.
“Tropical Gastronomy Fiesta: COMO Beach Club Meets Carbon Jakarta” will present a delightful menu, inviting guests to explore Mexican flavours. The gastronomic experience begins with a trio of Antojitos; including infladitas, “quesabirria,” and pota-quito. Guests will then transition to the cold dish – the delicate Hokkaido scallop ceviche, followed by aji charapita (notably, the world’s most expensive chili), and a red mullet quinoa salad.
At the main course stage, Carbon will showcase a contemporary interpretation of Tamale featuring dry-aged duck breast and foie gras, followed by a Wagyu Zabuton marbling 9+, served with traditional blue-corn tortillas imported from Mexico. Bringing the flavor-filled journey to a sweet finale is Sieta Leches, a masterpiece with seven milk-infused layers.
The highlight of this collaboration is the celebrated Chef Andri Dionysius, Chef Patron of MDA Restaurants, who has transformed Jakarta’s dining scene with innovative ideas that redefine gastronomy.
