This fairytale-like waterfall is not as tall or as wide as many other falls in Bali, but an amazing site to explore it is. Arriving at Apuan Village, at the end of the road there you will find only a temple. The cool and forested waterfall is reached after a 15-minute walk through a refreshingly beautiful pathway with vines creeping down the steep cliffs on both sides. Colorful butterflies are flying around and all you hear are chirping birds as the rumbling sound of running water grows louder on your descent. The road leading to the location is quite challenging both by car & bikes, it needs a little extra struggle, it is advisable not to visit during the rainy season because the road will be slippery. On occasions there are landslides, so it can be quite dangerous.
Once you approach the waterfall after the descent down you’ll be stunned by the beauty of it. Though the fall itself is just a single column, the color palette of this extremely photogenic place makes it seem like you’ve just entered a fairytale. From the green mosses, vines, and trees to the turquoise and sapphire shades of the water; this waterfall will definitely take your breath away.
To get to this wonderful waterfall, you can use your motorbike or car. However, if you want to go faster to get there and avoid traffic jams in Denpasar City, it is advisable to use a motorbike. From Kuta, it will take about 1.5 hours to drive and from Denpasar it will take 60 minutes.
