You can purchase shampoo, toothpaste, baby formula, nappies, imported wine and cheese, and a large variety of snacks such as crackers, confectionery, and more. The supermarket even has a French bakery providing daily fresh bread and pastries. Pepito’s seafood is consistently fresh and of high quality, second only to Jimbaran Fish Market!

If you are staying in the Kuta or Legian area, conveniently located on the underground floor of Beachwalk Mall is Foodmart. Here you will find basic groceries, fruit and vegetables, local snacks and some ready-made food. Despite it being situated within a high-end shopping center, the prices are reasonable.

Indomaret

Indomaret is a Bali convenience store which has the widest selection of baby care products such as nappies, formula, wet wipes compared to many of the other convenience stores, as well as being competitively priced. You will also find some essentials like snacks, basic groceries, drinks, personal care items and stationery, however they do not sell alcohol. As well as shopping, you can also top-up your phone credit and pay other bills at Indomaret – making it a one-stop shop for all of your day-to-day needs.

Alfamart

Like Indomaret, Alfamart has a small selection of groceries and snacks on offer, as well as personal care items, stationery and some kid’s toys. Most Alfamarets do not sell alcohol either.

Minimart and Circle K

Both of these convenience stores in Bali are perfect for grabbing your everyday snacks and drinks, including beer, wine and spirits. However, don’t anticipate a great range of choice or the most wallet-friendly prices.

Kimia Farma

Kimia Farma is the top choice to pick up prescription medication in Bali. Whilst prices may be slightly higher compared to some local Bali chemists, the customer service is usually very good and they keep a comprehensive stock of prescription and over-the-counter meds. They also sell some personal care items too, such as vitamins and hair, skin and dental hygiene products.

Guardian Chemist

You can easily collect prescriptions and over-the-counter medicine at Guardian Chemist, but be aware that the prices are usually a little more expensive. They also have a well-stocked range of personal care items, including some imported shampoos and make-up brands.
