Grilled Duck at Dimsum Brunch Mulia

You don’t need to go to Shanghai or Hong Kong for Dim Sum because The Mulia Resort has it all right here in Bali. We’re not talking about your average Chinatown Yum Cha joint…at Table8 they do a Sunday Dim Sum Feast with a high-end edge so you can enjoy authentic Chinese and Cantonese food without leaving Bali.

Everything from the furniture textiles to the staff uniforms, to the porcelain temples, are custom-made in the modern Chinese-themed dining space. As it’s the Mulia, it’s all about understated luxury. The table tops are marble and there is beautiful Chinese Art and artifacts placed all around the restaurant, as well as plenty of gold accents, as gold is the Chinese symbol for good fortune.

Of course the elegant decor pairs well with the food on offer. There are over 40 varieties of steamed and fried Dim Sum, Spring Rolls, Siu Mai and Buns to choose from, served all-you-can-eat style. Our favourites are the pork Dim Sum, Prawn Dim Sum, Vegetable Spring Rolls and the scallop Dim Sum. Everything is handmade by the Chinese executive chef and team, only from the finest and freshest ingredients. There will be no MSG hangover to worry about after all you can eat Dim Sum at Table 8.

There is way more than just Dim Sum on the menu too. You will find authentic clay pot dishes, soups, pork and duck dishes and a custom soup and stir fry station. At the stir fry live cooking station you can choose from a selection of meats, seafood and vegetables that will be wok-fried right in front of you…you can’t get fresher or more customised than that!

Frozen yogurt with fruit toppings and an assortment of sweet pastries are available for dessert, and your Chinese teacup will never be empty throughout your meal.

Table8 offers a spin on Sunday brunch like you haven’t experienced before and we are giving it a 10/10 for both food and ambience. Well worth a visit to this stunning resort to indulge in a Chinese feast like no other.
