Staying at The Royal Beach Seminyak
Seminyak is full of busy streets, amazing restaurants, fantastic shops, gorgeous beach clubs and bars and not somewhere that you picture rolling green lawns and wide-open spaces….this is however what you find right in the heart of this bustling area when you stay at The Royal Beach Seminyak!

First Impressions of The Royal Beach Resort
We were lucky enough to spend a few nights trying out this gorgeous resort; the wide-open spaces were definitely what caught our attention the most. This resort has a really authentic Balinese feel to it, with magnificent gardens and the architecture staying true to traditional Balinese style where possible. We loved that after a day on the busy streets of Seminyak we could return to this oasis. Not only is there plenty of grassed areas to explore and relax in but this resort is also beachfront! The area that looks onto the beach is especially impressive with volleyball courts, hammocks outdoor dining which feature themed nights, a large pool and a stunning tapas & shisha lounge for enjoying the beautiful Bali sunsets. On the night when we enjoy a sunset here we were also lucky enough to be entertained by saxophone soloist as well, we are told there are many live acts that feature on the lawns at sunset time.
Our Room at The Royal Beach Seminyak
There are a variety room types available within the resort and The Royal Beach Seminyak is one of the few resorts that also offer private pool villas within the resort itself (meaning you can access all of the resort facilities still but also have the privacy and space of a villa!). There are two gorgeous pools within the complex, 3 restaurants and a daily offering of activities including yoga and offering making…. you can pretty much have a holiday there without even leaving the resort!
An Accor Group Property
This resort is in the MGallery Collection, which is part of the Accor group – for those of you who are members you can use your membership when booking here. It is a 4.5 star property which means don’t expect to find it in the “Best hotels in Bali under $100 a night” category, however if you are looking for quality, luxury and an oasis feeling while still being in the heart of where it all happens then The Royal Beach Seminyak ticks all of these boxes!
Final Words
We don’t only love it as a place to stay but also a place to visit. The restaurants are open to the public, as is the sunset tapas lounge…definitely one of our favourite ways to enjoy a Seminyak sunset!
Whether you are planning on a stay or just on dropping in to try the restaurants and bars this resort is well worth checking out. You may even get to spot the Alu – monitor lizards which are the longest staying tenants at the resort
