Spotlight on Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort
Our Stay at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort
Towards the end of last year, we were lucky enough to stay at the new Sheraton Resort in Kuta. Being Seminyak lovers we haven’t stayed in Kuta for many years, so this was something different for us.

Our Room at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort
Upon entering the Sheraton we were blown away with the amazing lobby, it was huge, gorgeous and two lovely Balinese dancers welcomed us. It was clear from the start that this resort was something has not been seen in Kuta before.
I don’t even know where to start with our suite! WOW – views of the gorgeous Kuta Beach, modern furnishings, a coffee machine and quite possibly the most comfortable bed in the world! I could never imagine anyone being unhappy with the accommodation here.
Dining at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort
During our stay, we experienced both Feast and Bene Restaurants on the premises. Feast’s buffet breakfast had all you could ever want or need for breakfast (or lunch for that matter) and was really delicious. I loved that they even included a kid’s buffet section all in kid’s size and some cute novelty food too. Feast also is home to one of our favourite Sunday Brunches on the Island!
Bene is an Italian restaurant that is set up on level one and has a magnificent view of the ocean and handmade dinnerware that almost made us drool as much as the food. With the head chef at Sheraton being Italian himself, we can assure you that this menu has been prepared with all of the love and authenticity that we’ve come to expect from passionate Italian chefs. You can choose from 100 different kinds of pasta along with all of your Italian favourites (and a few surprises too). The food was melting in your mouth good. This combined with the view and décor makes Bene a fabulous choice for a special dinner or lunch during your stay. The restaurant even includes a private dining room and a rooftop area that can be hired for your special events. Bene is also open to the public along with in-house guests.
Fitness and Kids Club at the Sheraton
The Resort boasts a Fitness Centre with a view, which is complete with a good range of cardio machines and weights for those guests who want to counteract all the calories they will be indulging in during their stay!
Just outside of the Fitness Centre is the free form infinity pool, which also overlooks the ocean and is home to some great pool parties. There are a large number of sunbeds to choose from around this area as well.
There is a super cute kids’ club for guests at the resort to access as well. The club has both a large indoor and outdoor area for the children to play. There are set craft activities as well as access to various electronics. You can order food for the children to be delivered during their session also. We are looking forward to bringing our children to Sheraton during our next stay – we already know they will just love it!
Shine Spa for Sheraton
The other facility we got to indulge in during our stay was the Shine Spa for Sheraton. We both had traditional massages and the entire experience here was divine. The spa itself is simply stunning! Right from the minute we walked in we felt like we’d walked into a bubble of calmness and serenity. Every detail had been thought of from the change rooms with lockers, robes, slippers, to the garden-themed treatment rooms, to the after-treatment relaxing room with ginger tea overlooking the ocean. If you are looking for an extra special spa experience treat yourself here!
Final Words
While our entire stay at Sheraton was nothing short of magical what surprised us most was how much we enjoyed the location. Sheraton is set beside Bali’s best Shopping mall Beachwalk which features shops from all of your favourite labels, a huge food court, kid’s play areas and even a cinema. It really is an impressive shopping destination. Also, close by we found some fabulous cheap eats including two that topped our list Fat Chow and Nebula Room (these are just a two-minute walk from the Resort). Also of course just across the road was the famous Kuta beach with all the fun that that brings.
We are still Sheraton dreaming and this will definitely be a Resort that we will return to!
