Recently we took the family for a stay at Grand Mirage all-inclusive resort in Nusa Dua for the “all-inclusive” Gold package. We’ve never really done the whole all-inclusive experience as we love to explore the many dining venues Bali has on offer, so this was a first for all of us!

We spent three days in the 2 bedroom suite at the Grand Mirage all-inclusive resort, with so much space with 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms and a living/dining area. The resort is made up of two wings. The original wing – which is suited to older children or those traveling without children and the family paradise wing which is quite new and all about the kids!
When they say all inclusive it is exactly that, once we had our gold bands on our arms it was free range for all food and drinks across the 10 dining and drinking venues across both sides of the resort. It also included all room service and mini bar as well. As we were traveling with friends it was nice to dine together and not have to worry about splitting bills, as for the kids they loved the freedom of ordering poolside snacks and drinks themselves.
Across the long weekend, we enjoyed the many activities and facilities Grand Mirage all-inclusive resort had on offer. We started our day with the seaside yoga and participated in some pool games and aqua aerobics. The children enjoyed craft, nail painting and tie-dying in the kids club. We all loved the pool areas on both sides of the resort, the huge slide in the Family Paradise wing proved to be a big hit for the children…..and adults! The fun didn’t stop there, we also managed to squeeze in the rock climbing wall, watersports, foam party, and cultural dinner while we were there!
Overall we had a fantastic family long weekend with our friends. We didn’t leave the resort at all except to take in the fabulous Devdan Show. We totally relaxed, of course, overindulged in the fabulous food and drinks, were constantly entertained, and the staff was just so friendly and helpful. We went away with deep tans and huge smiles! We learned of many exciting additions coming to Grand Mirage Resort soon…..so it looks like we will have to head back and report to you again once they are complete!!
