To celebrate its diamond jubilee of delivering French art-de-vivre worldwide, the award-winning luxury brand is hosting a series of exclusive events throughout a variety of Sofitel hotels.

Sofitel has captivated guests all around the world with its French elegance. Celebrating the longstanding tradition, the brand presents a series of 120 celebrations throughout the year 2024. Marking Sofitel’s 60th anniversary, one such grand celebration took place at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort

On the 26th June 2024, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort welcomed 50 guests to their Jewel Box Chapel for a sparkling evening, including Platinum members, VIPs, media and wedding professionals. The celebration began with a pre-cocktail session featuring Kohaku Bali’s crystallised desserts. The delightful prelude transitioned into an elegant dinner with Eva Scolaro, a renowned jazz singer, and a cellist performing amidst the chapel’s glittering interior.

Short film campaign for Sofitel 60th Anniversary

Having unveiled a brand-new film and a collaboration earlier this year, the luxury brand will reveal even more surprises moving forward. 

In April 2024, Sofitel unveiled a fresh campaign featuring two new brand ambassadors, the talented actors Gillian Anderson and Dali Benssalah. The campaign centred on a short film ‘The Encounter,’ filmed at the flagship hotel Sofitel Mexico City Reforma, showcasing the brand’s ever-evolving approach to luxury hospitality.

Alongside the new brand campaign, Sofitel unveiled a unique collaboration. Partnering with Courbet, the first sustainable jeweller on Place Vendôme in Paris, an exclusive jewellery line was unveiled. Designed to mark Sofitel’s diamond anniversary, the collection comprises of 18 original pieces that reflect the Sofitel Cultural Link symbol. This collection offers a variety of stunning options, such as diamond pavé earrings, colourful cord bracelets, pendant necklaces and rings featuring ethically sourced diamonds.

The campaign and collaboration highlight the brand’s pillars, such as its signature French zest, commitment to luxury, heartfelt customer service and celebration of culture.

For 60 years, Sofitel, a pioneer of French luxury hospitality, has been gracing the world with its classic French style. Its journey began much earlier, with the opening of the first hotel on the 26th June 1964, in the charming city of Strasbourg, Alsace. This location offered guests gourmet cuisine, along with picturesque architecture and unique landscapes. 

A decade after the very first hotel opening, the brand set its sights on global expansion. The goal is to bring its know-how to every continent, while highlighting the unique spirit of each new location. This ambitious move made Sofitel the first French luxury hotel brand to operate on all five continents – Europe, North and South America, Oceania, Africa and Asia.
