Melasti Beach is a beautiful beach located at the foot of a high cliff. Its unspoiled blue sea makes this beach to be one of the best in the region Ungasan. The waves are not too high and the tide is not very strong, so Melasti Beach is well suited for swimming. If you like snorkeling, don’t forget to bring your snorkeling gear as you can spot colorful fish here because of the clear sea water.
To access Melasti beach, adults are required to buy an entrance ticket at a fee of IDR 5,000 / adult while children can visit the beach for free.
On the beach there are a couple of small warungs that still charge surprisingly low for local food, including burgers.
Ungasan is approximately a 45 – 60 minute drive by car from the Kuta/Seminyak area, we recommend taking a private driver (find one in the GRAB app) as public transportation or taxis are not available at this beach.
