Locally this waterfall is known as the best waterfall in Bali. It’s located near the famed Gitgit waterfall, which often overshadows the peaceful Jembong waterfall. The path leading up to the fall takes you through cacao plantations and as opposed to most waterfalls on the island, you don’t have to climb or descend stairs; just follow the rocky path onto the slopes instead.
Unlike other waterfalls, this one is not perpendicular, but flows over a 75 degrees slope. This regular flow of the water makes this place ideal for a refreshing splash in the basin as well as for spiritual healing. You won’t find many tourists here, but if you’re lucky you can witness a spiritual healing session in this unspoiled, beautiful piece of nature.
