Green Bowl Beach

Green Bowl is one of Bali’s most secluded beaches, a small strip of just 30m of white sand. To reach the beach you must travel down hundreds of steps approximately 75 metres down a cliff in the village of Ungasan. Due it’s location it usually only attracts the die hard surfers and adventurers!

Green Bowl is famous for its limestone caves which are fun to explore and provide shelter and shade. It’s best to explore at low tide and is fabulous for snorkelling in the crystal clear waters. For the surfers it has fairly consistent waves beyond the natural reef barrier.

At the top of the cliff you can purchase some snacks and drinks to take down with you. The drive to Ungasan is around 45 minutes from the Kuta/Seminyak area. It’s best to take a driver as there is not a lot of public transport close by, so we recommend you download the GRAB app and order your ride from there.
