If you’re anything like us, taking your pet to as many places as possible with you is important. Those trips to the beach, staycations at pet friendly hotels and days out exploring are always all the more fun when your furry friend gets to come along too!
Our favourite Super App in Bali – Grab makes it easy to transport you and your pet around in safety with the launch of GrabPet. Just as you would normally choose the Grab Car option, when you go to choose which type of car you’d like to book for your ride, you can choose a GrabPet car. This ensures you’ll get a car and a driver who is comfortable taking animals on your ride.
At the moment this service is only available in the Kuta, Legian, Seminyak and Canggu area as it goes through its BETA testing phase. If the service proves popular it will extend to other areas of Bali too. Also if you are one of the first to book a GrabPet ride, you’ll receive some special treats for your pet during your ride!
There are some regulations to be aware of when using Grab Pet. The limit for the number of pets in anyone on one ride is two small/medium pets and one large pet. Grab Pet drivers have in-car kits to ensure their vehicles stay hygienic from ride to ride.
By choosing GrabPet you’ll also have automatic pet insurance included in your ride, so both you and your pet are protected. You’ll be welcomed by your driver who has been trained to handle pets in their car. So now there is no excuse to ignore those puppy dog eyes looking at you as you leave the house for a trip out next time!
