The new Sanur outlet doesn’t stray far from the original recipe. Bali-inspired murals add colour to the brick walls of the huge outdoor-indoor dining space. And of course, Nuri’s signature pork ribs — smothered in Balinese spices and house-made barbecue sauce — are still the biggest seller. But the meaty deliciousness doesn’t stop there. Juicy rib burgers, whole roast chickens served with house-made sambal (chopped chilli condiment), and beef short ribs are just a few of the options. They can even whip up a healthy chef’s salad.
Drinks-wise, it’s still all about those cocktails! Super-charged martinis, zingy margaritas, and giant strawberry daquiris are where it’s at. And with 110ml of vodka or gin goodness in each icy cold serve, it’s no wonder Bourdain said Nuri’s martinis were the best he’d tasted outside of New York. To add to the fun, Nuri’s waitresses will perform the famous ‘Shake Shake’ dance with every order!
Strategically located on Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai, Nuri’s is the perfect lunch stop on your way to Seminyak, with plenty of parking space for cars and motorbikes.
