On February 3rd we saw the first International flight land in Bali in almost 2 years! After a water cannon welcome upon landing, the guests from Japan were transported to Grand Hyatt Bali in Nusa Dua to begin their 5 day “Warm Up Vacation”.

In true Bali style isolation doesn’t look the same as quarantine, hence the latest campaign by the Indonesian Government to welcome International travelers to the Island – Warm Up Vacation.
So what does a Warm Up Vacation look like?
At the Grand Hyatt Bali it takes place in their separated isolation wing of the resort. Travelers are allowed to access a special beach area, a separate gym area and a designated pool area. Only with menus to choose meals, the guests will be offered daily outdoor activities such as yoga and Crossfit also. The staff taking care of these travelers also isolate while on duty and are tested before leaving the area once their roster is over.
Warm Up Vacation packages at Grand Hyatt Bali in Nusa Dua start at 10,500,000 Rp net. All packages are inclusive of your four-night accommodation, three meals per day, two mandatory PCR tests, a one-way airport transfer, five pieces of laundry per day and of course access to all of the facilities and activities on offer (*terms & conditions apply).
While we can’t wait for these restrictions to be lessen or removed all together, for those ready to make their way to the Island now, you can consider your mandatory first 4 nights/5 days of isolation, as your very own retreat to relax, recharge, enjoy the Balinese hospitality…before you get into the serious business of exploring Bali!
