Marriott International Hotels and Resorts in Bali join hands with Marriott International Business Council Bali for the highly anticipated Annual Charity Golf Day on 24 June 2023 at Bali National Golf Club in Nusa Dua.
This prestigious charity event celebrates the thrill of the game while igniting the spirit of giving back and positively influencing the local community.
Unlike a regular tournament, this event brings together passionate golfers and community advocates to support Bali Children Foundation – a foundation providing an educational pathway for disadvantaged Balinese children – in promoting long-term sustainability.
With an extensive portfolio of 27 hotels established in Bali, Marriott International is looking forward to an expansion with upcoming properties on the island. Also, Marriott Business Council Bali has been involved in local community projects, dedicated to making an impact aside from providing exceptional hospitality experiences.
This year, the hotels aim to exceed the previous target by setting a goal to collect over IDR 500,000,000 – all in pursuit of fostering a brighter future for children, as expressed by Marcel Kloet, General Manager of The St. Regis Resort Bali and the Chairman of the event.
Upon registration, every golfer will be greeted with an exclusive premium golf shirt. During the event, golfers will then indulge in a fulfilling golfing experience with the thrilling “Beat the Pro” tournament. LPGA professionals from Japan and Thailand will also join the games, adding more excitement! Delectable bites and refreshing beverages provided by the renowned Marriott International hotels in Bali will ensure an enjoyable day.
Each hole will be transformed into a hub of entertainment, fun competitions, and delightful surprises, with a staggering prize pool exceeding IDR 1 Billion! As the day ends, an awards dinner awaits – a perfect opportunity to forge connections with like-minded individuals and engage in lively conversations.
Golfers and non-golfers can join the Gala Night at Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort from 7 pm onwards, priced at IDR 700,000 net per person for three hours of International Buffet Dinner with Beer, Wine & Soft Drinks, door prizes, live and silent auctions, novelty prizes and live music entertainment & DJ.
