Away Bali Legian Camakila is proud to have their 24 staffs joining a good cause initiated by the Shuffle and Strides, a Lapathon fund-raising which is conducted for 24 hours non-stop, at Finns Beach Club, Berawa on Saturday, September 14th, 2022.
With an overflowing motivation, the team moved its way during the entire 24 hours in order to support the Mental Health Awareness in Indonesia.
There are absolutely no requirements for participation. You can set your targets, pick your distance, and choose your own movement time. The good thing is, every participant is given the freedom to determine their own goal.
This event will have a lot of fun while providing access to life’s basic need for mental health assistance.
During the event, there will be a lot of entertainment, such as live music, dance performances, inspirational speakers, and a stand-up comedian. Besides that, every team gets their tent and there will be a BBQ, market, juniors track, body bubbles, and Slip ‘n Slide on the field.
Evan Burns, The Country Manager Indonesia for Cross Hotels and Resorts said “I am excited to be joining the 24-hour Lapathon Fundraiser. Me and my team can be a part of supporting Mental Health in Indonesia, and supporting those who really need it most, one step at a time!”
Building a Community to Support Each Other
The Shuffle and Strides Lapathon is set to provide ground breaking resources for prevention and maintenance of mental health. The goal is to open a community-based facility focused on drugs and alcohol rehabilitation and other mental health disorders.
As the community of S & S grows, there will be many cases where people are “not okay” and we stand ready to provide them with the professional help needed to get them stable and into the community! Our community goal is a come as you are, everyone welcome philosophy!
Jack and Nick as the Founder of The Shuffle and Strides says, “This Lapathon will be breaking down the stigma and bringing the topic of mental health to the “Dinner Table. Please do your part to aid in the efforts for mental health.”
