Perched high above the palms where fun and flavor collide, Kuta Social Club presents an exciting collaboration with Lona Misa – South Yarra, Australia’s restaurant – bringing a plant-based exclusive dinner to Kuta’s rooftop!

On the 28th and 29th of April 2023, Executive Chef Ben Harrington and Lona Misa’s Chef Santiago Ospina will team up to serve Kuta’s very first 5-course plant-based Latin-inspired dinner, taking every guest to experience Lona Misa’s rebellious approach to vegetarian and vegan food. This culinary journey is available at IDR 650,000 per person.

Taking place after the sun sets, the exclusive dinner of Kuta Social Club x Lona Misa begins with Fried Olives stuffed with queso fresco. The first course features two exquisite dishes, Roasted Padron & Manchego Croquette – Crispy bechamel croquetas, filled with spicy padron pepper and cheese, served with aioli, and Sandia Nikkei – Smoked watermelon, panca chilli, leche de tigre, tamarind, Nikkei chalaca, and fresh avocado.

The second course will have Empanadas Bloom “Pork” Mince – Argentinian style empanadas filled with bloom providore pork mince, plantains, ginger, and Aji Amarillo, served with salsa criolla, and chimichurri, along with Castanas D’Agua – Water chestnuts, fermented chilli leche de tigre, chalaquita and fried parsnip.

Going deep into the night, the third course will introduce guests to another fabulous set. Get a taste of Tamal Bloom “Mince” – Spiced bloom providore pork mince wrapped in masa, steamed in corn husk, topped with mojo verde and house sour cream and Peri Peri Cauliflower – Fire-roasted cauliflower, basted in fermented peri peri sauce, served with chimichurri and herbed pangratto.
The culinary journey continues with the fourth course of Tijuana Cesar Salad – Baby cos, Caesar dressing, parmesan, and house-seasoned croutons, and Bloom Providore Braised “Meatballs” – Josper roasted bloom providore meatballs, served in seco sauce, cassava, crispy peas, and shiso leaves.

Reaching the final course, it will be for sweets. First, there’s Pina Colada – Coconut cream mousse, compressed crispy coconut, pineapple jelly, squish sable, finger lime. Also, Chocolate Aztec Tart – Ancho chilli, dates, Ecuadorian single-origin dark chocolate, will be at the end of the culinary journey.
