Legian Beach

You don’t need to spend a lot of money to have fun with the kids in Bali. One of the cheapest things to do is visit one of Bali’s beaches. Our favourite beach to visit with the kids is Legian Beach – there is always lots happening on this beach and it’s a great spot to hire a boogie board for the kids and catch a wave (or you can ask one of the many locals to take them for a bodyboard or surfing lesson for around $20 AUD).

Legian-Beach-Bali-Buddies-723x407

There are a lot of “sellers” on this beach – don’t get overwhelmed. Pull up a chair at one of the many beach bars. It’s free to sit at a beach bar as long as you purchase a drink, and a sun bed usually rents for around $5 AUD and you can keep it as long you like. You can purchase cheap local food from this beach and you’ll see sellers with fairy floss, popcorn, fruit, snacks and more. There is always a fun vibe at Legian Beach and it’s also a great place to catch a sunset!
