Learn why Klook is the ultimate one-stop shop for planning your Bali holiday. From thrilling adventures to serene spa treatments, find out how Klook offers convenience, reliability, and support for both travelers and local service providers alike.

One of our favourite booking platforms to use in Bali is Klook, their huge range of Bali activities, tours and services that you can book all on the one website or app, makes it a one stop shop for visitors to Bali. Everything from tours, workshops, baby equipment hire, grazing platters and everything in between is at your fingertips on Klook

We often get asked however, “is Klook legit?”or “is Klook reliable?”- which is understandable with the number of scams floating around on the internet these days. So, we thought we would explain a little on how Klook works, and why we recommend using Klook on your next Bali holiday….

How does Klook work?

Klook is an experiences booking platform, they manage the technical, marketing and payment side of the bookings, they aren’t the actual tour operators and service providers. Klook provides the platform for operators to advertise their activity or service on, has a safe and secure payment gateway for the booking, and also gives customer support to the people making the bookings if they experience any issues.

Klook actively seeks out the best services and operators in Bali (and around the world) to work with.

We found so many great experiences in Bali on the Klook app, and the booking process has always been so easy. We’ve booked tickets to the Uluwatu sunset fire dance, daypasses at Club Med, ATV riding, white water rafting, dining experiences, spa treatments, snorkelling, diving…and we’ve even hired a private yacht for the day, directly from the app! Even as residents who live on the island, we find the app an easy way to find and book the best experiences.

Does Klook support locals?

One of the comments we sometimes get is that by booking through Klook, you are not supporting locals…which is not true at all. Klook uses their team in Bali, and people like us at Bali Buddies, to help connect them with locals that are providing great experiences and services to tourists. They then support the locals to upload their activity or service onto the Klook platform.

By being on Klook the locals get worldwide marketing and a completely supported booking and payment experience for their customers…that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to offer. Not only does this give local’s exposure of their business all over the world, but it also gives potential customers protection for their bookings too. The local service provider doesn’t pay to be on Klook, they only pay a commission per each booking. So, it really is a win-win situation for customers and locals.

What are the benefits of booking through Klook?

Klook also offers a safe and secure payment gateway, with very clear cancellation and refund policies. Not to mention they have full time customer support available to assist customers also.

For every booking you make on Klook, you will also collect Klook credits. You can even earn more Klook credits by leaving reviews on each activity or service you try. These credits can be used to discount future bookings.

How do we get the best price in Klook?

Klook works hard to ensure you are getting the best and fairest prices on all of the activities and services available. If you are a first time user of Klook, you can also use code BALIBUDDIES to get a 10% discount off your first Klook booking too!
