After three seasons, Karma Kandara’s Los Angeles native Executive Chef Joseph Antonishek is finally back with the latest season of Caliwine-ication on December 29. Named after the award-winning show, Californication, Caliwine-ication Season 4 will highlight a variety of wine pairings originating from the vineyards of Robert Mondavi – a legendary Napa Valley, California vintner. It is indeed a winery experience you can’t miss to end out 2022.

Caliwine-ication begins with the California Canape Hour in Temple Bar and Lounge from 6 pm. It will be the perfect occasion to watch the beautiful sunset as you sip a glass by the infinite Indian Ocean. As the night falls, continue to Di Mare Restaurant to taste Karma’s curated fine-dining courses with a Balearic vibe coming from the perfect setlist of Karma’s resident DJ, the Ibiza icon, Jon Sa Trinxa.

Combining California table-style dining and sustainable ingredients, Chef Joseph offers a unique taste of the finest local ingredients with a twist. His signature dishes include Monterey Bay-inspired chowder served with abalone krupuk and Javanese quail with a Cal-Mex-inspired chorizo cornbread stuffing. Witness how Chef Joseph’s travels have inspired his creations, especially with the rich Nama chocolate dessert served with passion fruit and coconut sorbet – a classic Japanese dish with an LA touch.

To accompany your blissful night, try the signature mezcal negroni cocktail to indulge in, with a Californian-Mexican influence. If you’re looking for a fine local taste, you can’t miss the cocoa nib-infused brem (Balinese rice wine).
