Best Things to do in Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua has a certain resort vibe that will get you in the holiday mood quicker than you can say “Piña Colada!” If you like a more polished version of Bali with classy resorts and perfectly manicured white sandy beaches, then Nusa Dua should be at the top of your list!

Aerial view of a coastal area featuring a long sandy beach, calm blue waters, and surrounding greenery with scattered buildings—one of the best things to do in Kuta and Legian. A small peninsula with a structure at the end adds to the picturesque scenery.

Are you staying in the Nusa Dua area and wanting to venture beyond the poolside cabanas of the luxury resorts? If so, here is our list of the best things to do in Nusa Dua.

Get Your Party On at Canna Bali

Aerial view of Canna Bali hillside resort with multi-tiered buildings, surrounded by lush greenery, overlooking a sandy beach with a clear blue swimming pool and several beach umbrellas and chairs

Canna Bali feels more like an exclusive villa party by the beach than a Beach Club. It looks just like a luxury villa in the Mediterranean, complete with DJ’s that will take you from sunset to late night with their classic house and disco tunes. The dancefloor feels like a large alfresco living area where the cool people come out to play in the evening. The restaurant Cliff, located on the top floor, is a first-rate fine dining experience that’s open for lunch and dinner, with eye-catching interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows making the most of the stunning beachfront views. For day time hangs you’ll find plush daybeds perched on the side of the white sands of Nusa Dua Beach, and a generously sized deck and pool area that’s perfect for soaking-up the sunshine and party vibes.

Have an ‘old time’ Bali experience at Geger Beach

geger beach bali is one of nature destinations in nusa dua

Geger Beach is located in the central part of Nusa Dua, just near the Mulia Resort. There are local warungs where you can park-up for the day and rent a sunbed for IDR 50,000 (AUD $5) and hangout under the shade of a large umbrella. Whilst fancy beach clubs are also fun, nothing gets you closer to the ocean and white sands than sitting at a beachside warung enjoying a nasi goreng, satay sticks, juices, coconuts or Bintangs for a great price. The water is crystal-clear and turquoise, and usually calm enough for swimming. You can relax watching the fishing boats come in and out, as well as surfers catching waves out the back of the reef.
