When looking for the best brunch, Bali has so many amazing choices! Sunday Brunch Bali style is almost an institution on the Island. Whether you live on the island or are just visiting, trying out some of the best Sunday brunches is a must to your weekend itineraries.

For a while there we were worried we might not see the return of the extravagant Sunday Brunches in Bali, but rest assured they are still happening and just as fabulous as ever… we even went and tested them all out for you (tough gig we know!), so we can give you our tick of approval when it comes to health protocols in this new era.

Sawah Terrace at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Sawah Terrace Sunday Brunch featuring the finest local delicacies is prepared under the helm of Executive Chef Bayu Retno Timur. Serving the all-day-dining every Sunday starts at 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

The culinary team prepares live stations in the buffet such as Tuna Gohu (Ternate’s ceviche), Sop Buntut (Oxtail soup), Nasi Campur (Indonesian rice bowls with condiment), Babi Guling (Balinese suckling pig), Beef Konro (Makassar’s slow roasted beef striploin), BBQ Jimbaran-style and local desserts, along with pass-around delicacies.

Guests can relish in the authentic flavours of the Indonesian archipelago and find their favourites from the salad bar, hot pots, live station char grilled, and house specialties. For a taste of nostalgia that is bound to bring them down memory lane, they can go to the dessert corner like es dawet nangka, es serut, martabak manis, and traditional Indonesian sweets.

Cucina at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua

The recently revamped Cucina offers an invigorating new look, a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere, an Italian head chef – Chef Patrizia Battolu to lead the culinary team and a new zero-waste concept uniform.

Cucina welcomes guests to its newly built imposing entrance, elegant bar areas, and a very new mozzarella pizza bar side by side with its unique copper “beech” oven. All these elements blend in a perfect harmony of senses from the beautiful mixes of warm colour to the essence of Italian cuisine and music.

The new concept of Cucina will instantly remind you of the surrounding nature as reflected through several elements of its interior design.

Kayuputi at The St. Regis Sunday Brunch, Nusa Dua

This lavish and elegant Sunday Brunch at the St. Regis Bali Resort will tantalize your taste buds with a beyond-expectation gastronomic indulgence. Dining takes place indoors in the exquisite Kayuputih Restaurant, air-conditioned comfort, with an ocean view. The brunch is served a la carte and all-you-can-eat style, which we loved!

From the comfort of your table, you are delivered dishes from the starter menu, you can order from the vast table menu as much as you like, and you are also treated to the chef’s mobile stations coming to your table as well. You can indulge in prime meat selections, fresh catches of the day, decadent desserts and so much more!

This brunch showcases both Kayuputi’s Pan-Asian-inspired haute cuisine and the renowned signature dishes from Boneka restaurant. All dishes are handcrafted and prepared a la minute by Executive Chef Agung Gede & his culinary team.

Brunch starts with an hour of free-flow cocktails from 11 am – 12 pm in the Kayuputi Bar first. Then the feasting begins from 12 pm through to 3 pm.

Sunday Lobster Brunch at Alila Villas Uluwatu

Sunday Lobster Brunch at Alila Villas Uluwatu is a total indulgence of all your senses. Delicious food, live music, unique drinks, and a dip in their famous pool after you eat makes for a memorable Sunday! You start your brunch by whetting your appetite with three different flavours of Bloody Mary, before diving into an a la carte selection of an all-lobster brunch-style menu. Spend your Sunday seaside at Sanur Fisherman’s Club. Bali’s Longest Brunch at Sundara, Jimbaran

Brunches are meant to be enjoyed slowly and abundantly, and what better way to do that than to take your time over Bali’s longest brunch?
