25 of Bali’s Most Stunning Waterfalls
Are you in for an adventure and to discover Bali’s incredible nature? Then a day of exploring the island’s most (or least) popular waterfalls is an activity to add to your list.
In the northern part of Bali, there are multiple waterfalls that are located so close to one another. The Banyumala Twin Waterfalls is located to the north of Lake Buyan and only 15 minutes away from the Niagara Munduk Waterfall. This place is not easy to reach because the road is bumpy and narrow without many traffic signs. All this makes it a hidden gem and not a very popular tourist destination.

The hike to the waterfall may be tricky because the ground can be very muddy and slippery, especially during the rainy season. But… you best believe that: it’s worth the effort. In case you are wondering what makes this waterfall so special, it’s the fact that it consists of two flows cascading down from the sides, hence the name “twin”. The water is so pure and fair that you can easily see the deep end of the natural pool, but be careful if you can’t swim because the depth of the pool can be up to 2 metres.
It’s often very quiet and peaceful, therefore the ideal spot to explore if you want to avoid the tourist crowds. Make sure you bring comfortable shoes, a bottle of water and take your time to sit down and relax.
IDR 20,000 per person (includes a bottle of water)*
