A Beach Club with Tranquility
Located within Tegallalang’s famous rice fields in Ubud lies Cretya Ubud by Alas Harum Bali. This day club is the perfect place to experience the tranquillity of Bali and lounge around one of Bali’s best jungle clubs. Cretya has a three-layered infinity pool with gentle curves that boasts a view of the rice terraces. With a plethora of lounging options – a cabana, pool lounges, sofas, day beds and even hammocks – there is plenty of space to relax and soak up the jungle vibes.
There is a no-minimum spend with Yudhistira, Arjuna, Bima and the Deck Terrace, all restaurants within the pool area. Folk Pool & Gardens Jungle Club with Cinema Experience

Ubud’s first swim-up bar located in the centre of town, Folk Pool & Gardens, is the perfect spot to chill out, soak up the sun and enjoy a day of fun! You can expect green gardens, private daybeds and teepees, delicious food, mouth-watering cocktails and solid tunes. They have a range of both fresh Indonesian and international dishes on their menu and when it comes to your drink order, it goes without saying that swimming up to the in-pool bar is a fun experience (you can also order from your area). The Tapa Pool Club located at Tlaga Singha Bali in Sukawati, just outside of Ubud is picturesque. Featuring a swim-up pool bar, Tapa Pool Club has been designed with style in mind. There are multiple dining areas at Tlaga Singha to suit every need and want. They cater for large group events, private dining, romantic dinners and even wedding receptions. For a sun-downer (or any time of the day!), the main bar, adorned with bamboo, has cocktails, mocktails and other beverages on offer. If you’re feeling a little peckish, indulge in their tapas menu.

The Monkey Bar at Bella Kita

Jungle pool overlooking the ocean
For a true jungle club experience, Monkey Bar is a must-visit. Located in Klungkung in East Bali at Bella Kita Mountain Retreat & Spa, you can literally see the ocean from the pool. Enjoy your own ‘Coffee in the Clouds’, ‘Tea in the Trees’ or ‘Juice in the Jungle’ moment! Surrounded by lush jungle and pops of flower colours, Monkey Bar is truly spectacular. The infinity pool is overlooked by 4 metres tall stone Buddhas and you can float around or laze by the side of the pool.
The Monkey Bar offers all-day dining, homemade snacks, traditional Balinese dishes and healthy international cuisine. All produce is fresh, organic and seasonal and comes from Bella Kita’s farm. Monkey Bar has a range of delicious beverages, such as their famous dessert cocktail, the ‘Dicky Dipstick’.
If a little ‘me time’ is what you are after, the Bella Spa downstairs is the perfect place to relax. Let the therapists work their magic by using natural oils from coconut and lemongrass. Bella Kita also has a yoga hut that you can use for a class or even host a yoga retreat.
Monkey Bar is a great stop if you are exploring East Bali, but if you’d like to make a night out of it, you can book into the Bella Kita Villas.
