When it comes to celebrating birthdays in Bali, we are so lucky to be spoilt for choice! This year I decided to celebrate on the beach…in style, at Bali’s hottest new Beach Club – White Rock.
Located on the stunning Melasti Beach in Bali’s South, White Rock Beach Club sets a luxury scene. With sofas, lounges, and daybeds right on the edge of the pool, this is a place to come and set up for a day of sun and fun! The epic beach front pool spans the entire front of the beach club with uninterrupted views of Melasti beach, and even includes a swim-up bar! We loved that is has easy access to the beach when we wanted a dip in the stunning turquoise water without having to navigate steep steps.
There is a huge range of food and drinks on offer here, we particularly loved the sushi and the pizzas, perfect pool side snacking food! The staff were quick to shake our cocktails, pour our beers and pop our bottles right throughout the day…. I mean what’s better than day drinking on your birthday!
For those who love your tunes, there is a serious DJ set up at this beach club. While house tunes played throughout the day, if heading out in the evening is more your thing you can expect a full nightclub vibe here right on the beach! We were told to stay tuned for some very exciting visiting artist announcements at White Rock Beach Club in 2023. During our visit though, it was all about the daytime time fun and catching the gorgeous sunset view that White Rock offers.
After hours in the sun and water, when it came time for sunset, we headed upstairs to one of White Rock’s Executive Suites to catch the view from upstairs and enjoy some birthday karaoke (don’t worry the suites are soundproof so no other guests’ ears were harmed during our rendition of Spice Girls Wannabe). The suites are designed for groups to be able to party in private, with dining rooms, lounge areas, private bathrooms, and a balcony to overlook the entire beach club. It’s a great way for you to enjoy an intimate group celebration, all while having direct and easy access to all that the beach club has to offer.
Our day (and my celebration) at White Rock Beach Club was everything you’d expect from an epic Bali birthday – cold drinks, delicious food, great tunes and plenty of fun in the sun! It was also a great reminder of just how gorgeous Melasti Beach is…this is just one of the most stunning beaches in Bali and should be a must on every visitors Bali itinerary – so why not visit in style and enjoy White Rock beach club while you’re there!
