Arriba and Chupacabras join Sayan’s dining and drinking hotspots this summer

Arriba and Chupacabras are set to elevate Sayan’s dining scene starting May 30, 2024, offering Latin-American-inspired cocktails and South American grills with an Indonesian twist in a stunning jungle setting.

Bali’s culinary scene is ready to heat-up even more as the holiday season approaches, with two distinct new dining venues, Arriba and Chupacabras, arriving in magical Sayan, Ubud on the 30th May 2024.

Offering a fresh blend of gastronomy and mixology, both new destinations present a journey of rich flavours, set against breathtaking lush jungle and river views. Here, guests can experience pleasant summer evenings in Ubud, alongside refreshing sips and delicious meats!

Designed by renowned Bali design firm Nawangseta, Arriba and Chupacabras’ style combines contemporary aesthetics with natural stone and wood. Tall plants and lush greenery will pique your curiosity outside the venue, while inside, wooden furniture carved with Latin-American patterns exudes a cultural charm.

Located on the top floor, Arriba is a quintessential Latin-American-inspired cocktail bar. The bar’s extensive signature cocktails make the perfect sunset accompaniment, mixing locally-sourced ingredients from across the archipelago with Latin-American spirits. To complement the diverse range of cocktails, guests can also enjoy a selection of small bites inspired by Latin American street food, such as refreshing ceviche and savoury arepas grilled over charcoal.

Descend to the ground floor and be captivated by the enchanting Chupacabras. Rugged natural stones and flickering fire creates a visually compelling interior, reflecting the mythical creature of South American folklore’s love of fine meats. Here, this new must-visit dining venue serves-up modern South American grills combined with a distinctly Indonesian twist. Savour the finest juicy steaks and lamb chops prepared over the open kitchen’s Argentinian wood-fire brick grill.
