There are several night markets in Bali, one of which is Sindhu Night Market which is located on Jl. Pungutan No. 2, Sanur, close to Sanur Beach. It takes around 30 minutes to drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Sindhu Night Market (also known as Sanur Night Market) is an open-air food stall market, which is open nightly from 4 pm to 10 pm. Chicken Satay is a dish that you must try at this street food night market. This is a simple dish of skewered marinated chicken, served with a peanut satay sauce. The seller dips the skewers into a black soy sauce with herbs before grilling them, right in front of you. While you’re waiting, get teased with the smoke and the herb aroma. It’s really salivating. Then they add the peanut sauce, you can also order lontong (compressed rice cake in banana leaf) as an extra to go with the satays. If chicken is not your thing, there is also lamb satay. You can get 10 delicious chicken or lamb skewers for only 15,000 Rp here. And you add lontong for just 5,000 Rp more.
Bakso
You also can’t miss this delicious meatball soup! This famous Indonesian street food dish comes with glass noodles, flour noodles, tofu, bean sprouts and lettuce. There are several choices of meatballs that you can choose – beef meatballs, chicken meatballs, and cheese meatballs. You can also put sambal, sweet soy sauce, or tomato sauce in your Bakso to suit your taste. The price starts at just 12,000 Rp per bowl.
Soto Ayam
Another thing in must-try street food in Bali is, Soto Ayam. This is a chicken noodle soup, prepared with a simple aromatic chicken broth that’s infused with herb spices. Noodles are added and it is topped with chunky, juicy, tender chicken pieces, slices of boiled eggs, and sprinkled with fried thinly sliced onions. Fresh Fruit Juice
You can choose the fruit juice that you want because at the night market, they provide a variety of fruits ranging from apples, tomatoes, dragon fruits, star fruits, soursop, mango, pineapple, orange and many more. The fruit is blended, usually with sugar, condensed milk, ice cubes and a bit of water. You can also adjust it if you don’t want it too sweet. It all depends on your taste! Martabak

There are two martabak choices that you can choose from – sweet and savoury. Sweet Martabak is an eggy batter very much like batter pancakes. It gets deposited into a deep, oiled cast iron pan where it slowly cooks until the centre puffs up with tiny bubbles, It then gets carefully flipped out of the pan and topped. The most popular option seems to be the simplest: a thick spread of butter, followed by a layer of bitter chocolate sprinkles, and a big drizzle of condensed milk. Once the sprinkles are added, the pancake gets cut in half and closed up like a sandwich, where the residual heat makes everything melt together. Gorengan
This is a crispy snack of fried fruit such as cassavas, bananas, potatoes and other things. They put the fruit in the flour mixture then fry it. This is suitable to be enjoyed at night when the weather is getting cold. You can get these crispy snacks from just 5,000 Rp, not great for the hips but delicious on the lips!
